I finished all the Autumn 2018 anime I was following! Like I said before, it's impressive to me that I stuck with six shows all the way through; normally I start with less and end up either stalling on or dropping some as the season goes along.
Anyway, I covered RErideD and The Girl in Twilight in previous posts, so I'll sum up my thoughts on the other series I watched below the cut.

Release the Spyce: Was very meh. It had a decent enough start, but it never grew into anything remotely impressive, and even when it made out like it was going to have some big twists towards the end, it totally wimped out on them. 2017's Princess Principal did the "cute girls doing action things" schtick a million times better on every front.
Double Decker!: Was fun! I never got amazingly attached to it, but it's pretty solid as popcorn entertainment. One peeve I did have about it, though, was how the characters would keep going from 2D to CGI models and back again. I could understand it if the CGI versions were just used for the action scenes (like how The Girl in Twilight utilised them) but it happens in mundane scenes like Doug and Kirill just talking in the hallway as well, and it gets... jarring.
Banana Fish: The carryover from Summer 2018! Flawed but enjoyable, if you ask me; I definitely want to check out the original manga at some point. (I'd been interested in it beforehand, fan of oldschool shoujo that I am, but watching the anime has given me all the more incentive!) I feel like the adaptation might have had some pacing issues, and there was a point where I got really annoyed by Eiji (he can be incredibly stupid at times) but overall good stuff, albeit a... product of its time. Ash and Yut-Lung best boys, Sing/Yut-Lung best ship.
Bloom into You: Honestly, this was probably the best thing this season, in my humble opinion. It probably helps that I already like the original manga, but everything I like about the manga applies to the anime as well, particularly the enjoyable characters who feel like actual people. Sayaka's my favourite character, in great part because her storyline flips a fantastic middle finger at the "lesbianism is an adolescent phase to be grown out of" bullshit that sadly likes to come up in Japanese media, and Touko's a great mess as well. And the adult lesbians in an established relationship? Also great to see!

I've already figured out which shows from the next season I want to check out, and I'll post my list of what I'm watching once I've seen all their first episodes.
